“We are what we eat. As Hippocrates stated long ago,
"Let food be thy medicine." Each day we have the choice to nourish
our bodies with nutrient-dense foods or poison ourselves with processed, empty
calories. Recalling how our great-grandparents ate is one of the best
guidelines. One of my favorite kitchen magnets states: "Try organic
food...or as your grandparents called it, 'Food.'"
True behavior modification begins with carefully regulating the food and supplements you eat daily. That is step one. Balanced mental health stems from physical health and vice versa. They go hand in hand, or hand in “mind” one should say. Since your brain and your heart are “best friends” lets make sure they are treating each other with total respect and kindness, and not fueling arguments (imbalance) with toxic foods or toxic supplements, even ones we may have thought were good for us. Here we go.

Here we go.
Many people try to “watch” what
they eat, for the most part sticking to fruits and vegetables and supplementing
with vitamins, minerals and “diet” foods and drinks. They will also cheat this
“diet” or food regimen by “going off the rails” once in a while. This can go
horribly wrong. First of all, many people’s “staple” diet consists of cooked,
dead food. Also, their vitamins are often name brand, big corporation, big
pharma-made concoctions with “other ingredients” that include toxins. So these
folks who think they’re eating right and supplementing right, for the most
part, are eating dead food and taking dead vitamins, while they mix in some
toxic additives, preservatives, and if they’re eating “diet” labeled foods,
like zero and light, they’re most likely eating aspartame, sucralose and
sorbitol, artificial sweeteners that create damage in their ‘nutrition-robbed’
system.
Then, when they cheat and go off
those “rails” – they’re often drinking lots of alcohol, taking aspirin, eating
GMO corn syrup, analgesics, you name it. They’re going to the movies and eating
buttered GMO popcorn and drinking HFCS soda. This is damage piled on damage.
If this describes YOU, then change
your regimen right now. Change your staple diet, your staple food, your treats,
and also check out natural remedies.
It’s time to check out the
happiness diet and food for mental health balance. It’s time to find sweet or
salty food that tastes great and aids your system, not food that invades your
system. It’s time to change the whole food regimen to organic foods and organic
supplements. You can do it without spending a single dollar more than you do on
conventional toxic food now. Here’s how.
