A 7-year-old girl's skin is 90% burned and she's blind. Why? Her doctor recommended MORE Motrin after her skin had already broke out in blisters and her lips were bleeding from taking too much at home. She also lost 80% of her lung capacity. That's right, Samantha Reckis experienced toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN). Luckily, other doctors who can do more than sling Motrin saved her from dying. Johnson & Johnson is now required to also pay $6.5 million to each the parents, including repaying over time the interest, which ends up a total settlement of over $100 million.
