Shocking truth about the female inmates in California Prison who are sterilized against their will



 
According to Natural News, more than 148 female prisoners were sterilized in the prisons of California. This issue came to the forefront when The Center for Investigative Reporting published their report highlighting the horrible truth that took place between 2006 and 2010. In fact the state had distributed $150,000 in order to get tubal litigation done to hundreds of prison women, many of whom were forced to undergo this procedure. This was done somewhere in between the year 1997 and the year 2000. However two institutions had vehemently protested again this, namely the California Institution for Women in Corona and the Valley State Prison for Women in Chowchilla.

This procedure was instigated by James Heinrich, who was a doctor with Valley State Prison for Women OB-GYN. Many of the inmates complained that he was the person who forced them to undergo this procedure. Whenever a women was giving birth or was expecting a child, according to the inmates this doctor asked them to undergo this treatment citing that it was a necessary procedure as it will ensure them a healthy life. And this procedure is considered to be illegal by the Federal law as one cannot press a woman to consent to such a medical procedure during labor or childbirth.

In his defense Dr James Heinrich said that he suggested this procedure to only those women who had a history of three or more C-Section operations. However many say that this procedure was used due to the fact that sterilization of female inmates were there prior to 1979, before it was abolished. Sadly this incident acts as a reminder of The Nazi Rule, where Hitler used sterilization as a weapon to wipe out future generations.
