Toxic plastic chemical BPA declared safe by Canadian officials in an amazing turn of events

Issue – Whether the plastics chemical bisphenol-A or BPA is safe or not

Year 2008 – A government panel declares that the chemical that leeches out of the plastic containers into the food products can be the cause of ‘hyperactivity in children, breast and prostate cancers in adults, and birth defects in newborn babies, among other conditions.’

Present day – The same chemical (bisphenol-A or BPA) is deemed safe!

Don’t be surprised. This state has been crossed a long time back by the American people and now it’s the turn of the Canadian citizens to reap the effects that the pharma biggies have on a nation’s bureaucrats and political decision makers. To    deem unsafe chemicals safe for use, all they need to do is throw some ‘green’ into the pond and the takers are ready to gulp them down. Sound cynical but it’s the fact without doubt.

The Health Canada Food Directorate has even claimed this in one of their statements – ‘exposure to BPA in food packaging is not expected to pose a health risk to the general population, including newborns and young children.’

 

Why not? It is after a question of millions invested by the chemical industry in Canada for twisting the words as well as misleading and misinforming the general public. While the industry honchos count their chickens, it is the people in general who are thrown directly into harm’s way without even knowing what a dangerous game they are being made a part of. 

The United States has already seen the lives of millions sacrificed in this game worth millions right after WWII. It is since then that Monsanto, Dow, Dupont, Bayer, BASF, and Big Pharma started playing the dirty game of tricking the innocent and ignorant citizens by paying off the leaders of the nation (who were supposed to keep them out of harm’s way).
